Jazz piano, improvisation that has been notated, to process feelings in realtime and lift the spirits. In this piece, which is an improvisation that I've written down and played like a transcription, I play with dark, sombre harmonies set against an optimistic, playful piano texture. The result is something that felt really transformative or therapeutic - finding the light through an examination of darkness.
